They say everything ends, but some legacies refuse to die. The story of Swami Vivekanandha Seva Samithi (SVSS) is not just about charity; it is about a promise kept. In the wake of the heartbreaking loss of our brother, Pogaku Sai Kumar, we faced a choice. We could have drifted apart. We could have moved on. But instead of letting grief consume us, we chose service. That sorrow became the bond that held us together, shaping the foundation of what would become SVSS.

Our Inspiration
In our darkest moments, we found guidance in Swami Vivekananda. His teachings—that the “Divine” exists in those around us and that service heals hearts—became our driving force. Guided by his call to “Arise, Awake, and Stop Not,” we transformed our pain into action.

On June 14, 2018, we unveiled the statue of Swami Vivekananda in Shadnagar, marking the beginning of our mission to transform grief into service. This tribute became a symbol of our commitment to honor Sai Kumar’s memory through every life we touch.

On July 28, 2020, Swami Vivekanandha Seva Samithi was officially registered under the Telangana Societies Registration Act, 2001 (Reg. No. 635 of 2020). This formal recognition strengthened our ability to serve the community and continue building the legacy of compassion and action.
